Celebrate the many contributions made by African & Caribbean people in WWI & WWII through the amazingly well-written poetry by Nairobi Thompson.

Described as a poet of our time Nairobi is a published writer, academic editor and a passionate performance poet. She has written and performed for Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Carmen Munroe MBE, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Lord Ouseley. Nairobi has her own brand of interactive One Woman Show and we are proud to host ‘Bayonets, Mangoes & Beads: African Diasporic Voices of WWI & WWII’. This show is stuffed full of interesting facts and amazing poetry that is brought to life by Nairobi’s talent for riveting storytelling, and it was given 100 out of 100 by The British Blacklist (TBB)

For those of you who want to network and have even more fun you can also upgrade to a VIP AFTER PARTY ticket and stay on to have some Caribbean light refreshments and listen to DJ Ace from ‘Supreme Radio’ play your favourite RnB, Soul, Funk and Afrobeat tunes.

This will be a Black History Month celebration to remember! Book early because Nairobi’s shows are ALWAYS sold out.
